Owners/operators and pitmasters from some of the leading barbecue restaurants throughout Texas participated in the third Texas Barbecue Town Hall meeting, which was held at the Kleberg Animal and Food Science Center and the Rosenthal Meat Center on Monday, December 12, 2016. Faculty and students of the Texas Barbecue program at Texas A&M University participated in the TMBBQ FEST 2016 held at the Long Center in Austin, Texas on Sunday, October 30, 2016. For the third year in a row, Texas A&M University and its BBQ Genius Counter participated in the Texas Monthly BBQ Festival in Austin.
